The Cumberland County High School won an A.F. Bridges Award of Excellence for the 2011-'12 school year with the award being presented to the coaching staff following a faculty meeting Friday afternoon. The coaches surround CCHS principal Janet Graham and athletic director/assistant principal Jon Hall, who hands the award to Mrs. Graham. Coaches present, in no order, Kenneth Davis (wrestling), Blaine Moore (basketball), Blake Allen (football), Will Foster (basketball), Cub Whitson (boys and girls soccer), Emmy McCoy (cheerleading), Dave Prichard (baseball), Marty Davis (football), Rob Akins (softball), Ted McCaslin (football), Donald Smith (volleyball), Radhika Miller (girls basketball) and Leslie Eldridge (girls basketball).
