Judy Wood, left, was chosen the Crewette of the Year 2012 at the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads convention in Knoxville. The award is based on her service to the squad and the community. Wood has been a Crewette for 28 years. Bobbye Newberry, with 30 years of service, was the 2011 honoree, and Frances Latham, with seven years of service, won in 2010. Crewette of the Year is a state-wide competition and only one award is presented each year. Debbie Frady, with one year as a Crewette, holds the second-place award for the turnout gear relay race and Rosa Sherrill, with two years as a Crewette, holds the Region II Attendance Award. Not pictured is Gladys Pendergrass, who received a certificate of appreciation for 42 years of service as a Crewette.
