A malfunctioning air compressor caused damage to Rose's Sawmill on Sportsman Club Rd. last week. Cumberland County Fire Department responded to the midday call and was able to quickly bring the fire under control before it spread to nearby sawdust piles and wood products. The mill is owned and operated by Bruce Rose. The structure did suffer damage to the wall where the compressor was operated. No injuries were reported.
