fire

Crossville firefighters were called to an East Adams St. address around 9 p.m. Wednesday night when a passerby reported seeing flames coming from house. Incident Commander Chris South stated that the house had been vacant for some time and there was no power service to the structure. The fire is suspected to be arson and remains under investigation by Capt. Rick Myers, South said. No one was injured and the fire was brought under control in a matter of minutes after city firefighters arrived on the scene.
