Sibyl Lee (Greene) Kidwell, 90, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 10, 2009. Funeral services were held Aug. 13 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Larry McDuffee officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Kidwell was born March 3, 1919, in Overton County, the daughter of Fed and Ida (Moore) Greene.
She was retired from Volunteer Electric and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Ted Meadows and Judy and David Griffies, all of Crossville; sister, Wenonah "Tunie" Copeland of Sparta; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foress Jackson Kidwell; brothers, Ridley, Harold and Lloyd Greene; and sisters, Eula Cruise, Jessie Danner, Ruby Ring and Nettie Cooper.
Pallbearers were Gene Jackson, Eddie Brown, Chris Meadows, Jay Meadows, Anthony Palma and Rufus Maxwell.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
