Donnie Lane Parks, 51, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 11, 2009. Funeral services were held Aug. 14 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home with Bro. Eliot Roberts officiating. Interment was in Smith's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Parks was born June 5, 1958, in Crossville, the son of William Mack and Dorothy June (Lawson) Parks.
He worked in landscaping and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Parks; son, James Lee Parks; brothers, Lonnie Mack Parks, Steven Wayne Parks and Michael Scott Parks, all of Crossville; sisters, Joy Genese Flagg of Franklin, TN, Sherry Maxine Parks and Sharon Michelle Crockett, both of Crossville; mother-in-law, Opal Hassler; brother-in-law, Ricky Hassler; and sisters-in-law, Vicky Tollett and Gail Miller and her husband, Edgar.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Parks was preceded in death by nephew, Lucas Wayne Parks; father-in-law, Johnnie Hassler; and brother-in-law, Wes Tollett.
Pallbearers were Frankie Brown, Al Cunningham, Dean Williams, Phillip Abels, Stanley Miller and Vernon Miller.
