Crossville Housing Authority hosted U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development for its 60th anniversary celebration in Crossville Nov. 23. During the celebration, CHA was presented with a check representing a $503,200 grant to continue the New Beginnings Self-Help Homeownership Program. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Joe Woody, Rural Development state housing director; Crossville Mayor J.H. Graham III; Marley Wyatt, CHA New Beginnings coordinator; Jerry Jolley, Rural Development acting Cookeville area office director; Congressman Lincoln Davis; Bobby Goode, Tennessee Rural Development state director; Don Alexander, CHA executive director; state Sen. Charlotte Burks; Stan Lewis, CHA construction coordinator; and Cumberland County Mayor Brock Hill.
