Dr. Lisa Jividen and Susan Bowman, with Plateau Animal Hospital, trim Bogie's nails during a fundraiser Wednesday. The nail trims were free, and donations were taken to support a dog park for the city of Crossville. The dog park committee has already reached its first goal of raising $7,000 — half the cost of the initial construction phase for fencing the area at Crossville's Centennial Park. The next phase will bring a water line close to the entrance of the park and the third phase would provide a shelter area. The Crossville City Council is set to discuss the dog park at a special-called meeting today at 1:05 p.m.
