Dugger, Crabtree announce engagement


John K. and Geneva Dugger of Briceville, TN, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy LeAnne Dugger, to Jesse Alan Crabtree. He is the son of Jerry Crabtree and Jan Crabtree, both of Crossville, TN.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Annie B. and the late Jonas Phillips and John G. and Margie Dugger, all of Briceville, TN.

The 2002 valedictorian of Anderson County High School earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Lincoln Memorial University in 2006 and a master's degreeĀ from the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2008. She is employed by Ridgeview Psychiatric Hospital.

The prospective groom's grandparents are the late Kenneth and Mazelle McDonald and the late Sammy and Irene Crabtree, all of Crossville.

A 1997 graduate of Cumberland County High School, he received bachelor's degrees in business and marketing from Lincoln Memorial University in 2003 and is currently an employee of ORNL.

The ceremony will be held Aug. 22, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church in Lake City, TN. A reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at the Tea Room at Norris Dam State Park.
