Larry and Carla Meads announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Whitney Meads, to Kevin Scott Wise. He is the son of Joe and Priscilla Hagy and the late Ricky Wise.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late RC and Elsie Lauderdale of Bear Creek, AL, and Betty and the late Arthur Meads of Montgomery, AL.
A MedVance Institute graduate, she is employed by Crossville Medical Group.
The prospective groom's grandparents are the late Marshall and May Gambrell of Erwin, TN.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he is an employee of Sears.
The ceremony will be held Sept. 19, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Crossville. Invitations will be sent.
