Mr. and Mrs. Randy Swafford of Crossville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Carrie Lynn Swafford, to Joshua Matthew Dukes. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dukes of Spencer.
The ceremony will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, at the home of Douglas and Sue Satterlee, with a reception following at the same location.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene McKinney of Rockwood and the late Mr. and Mrs. White Swafford of Crossville.
A Cumberland County High School and Tennessee Technological University graduate, she is employed by Stone Elementary.
The prospective groom's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Raper and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dukes.
A graduate of Van Buren County High School and Tennessee Technological University, he is an employee of Progressive Savings Bank.
