Barnes, Payne to unite in marriage
Jim and Pat Barnes of Crossville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Marcie Renee Barnes, to Creed Benjamin Payne. He is the son of Gail and Rick Boles of Jamestown and Mike Payne of Crossville.
The ceremony is being planned for the summer of 2010.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Clarence and Blanche Folden of Knoxville and the late Litton and Carrie Barnes of Harriman.
She is a student at Roane State Community College.
The prospective groom's grandparents are June Seiber and the late Phillip Seiber of Crossville and Mildred Payne and the late Creed Payne of Crossville.
He is in Marine Corps training.
Invitations will be sent, but all relatives and friends of the couple are invited.
