CROSSVILLE —
The Arc of Cumberland County presented its annual Special Olympics Track and Field Games on Sunday, Oct. 2 at Stone Memorial High School.
More than 100 athletes registered for the event, noted Glenda Bond, event chair. At the Special Olympics, all the athletes are winners.
"Each is a gold medalist regardless…" said Bond. "That's what The Arc Special Olympics is all about — making the day special for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities."
