The Tennessee Arts Commission recently presented a statewide conference to assist arts organizations during the current economic downturn. "Reflect, Recharge, Reset — Working Together in Tough Times" was held at Paris Landing State Park Oct. 13 and 14. The conference focused on the economic vitality of the state arts organizations. The conference not only offered valuable information on surviving the current economic situation but also offered arts organizations strategic approaches to gain sustainability and prosperity in the years ahead. Visiting between sessions are Ann Looney, member of the Tennessee Arts Commission, and Cumberland County Playhouse representatives Lisa Harrison, Tracey Barnes Hughes, Britt Hancock, and Debra Graham.
