CROSSVILLE — The ninth annual Homesteads Apple Festival took place Sept. 22-23. The two-day fund-raising event benefits the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Association, a non-profit organization that is working to preserve and promote the Cumberland Homesteads Historic District, which includes the Homesteads Tower Museum and the Homesteads House Museum.
