Cumberland County High School crowned Ginny Cole and Chase Wood as the 2008 Basketball King and Queen. Cole is the 18-year-old daughter of Danny and Janice Cole. Chase is the 17-year-old son of Jerry and Rebecca Wood. The Lady Jets scored a 73-27 victory over Rhea County in the Homecoming contest, while the Jets beat Rhea County 67 to 42.
