FG Rotary plans their Ready, Set, Golf event

CROSSVILLE — Fairfield Glade Rotary Club Golf Committee Chair Tom Williams announced details for The 2012 Rotary Club Golf Tournament. This fun-filled event will be held Saturday, June 23, at the Heathehurst Brae Golf Course with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. He has challenged all members to bring in major donors, sponsorships, great prizes, fun games and most importantly golfers. This is not only one of the club’s annual fundraisers, it is a special event geared to the golfing youth of Cumberland County. Area students are sponsored for a day of golf and lunch and paired with “veteran” golfers for an opportunity to play on one of our beautiful golf courses and win prizes.

Golfers of all levels are welcome to participate in this worthwhile event that benefits local charities and non profit organization throughout the year. For an entry fee of just $65 golfers receive a goody bag of special items, will enjoy 18 holes of golf with cart, participate in many skill challenges along the course and then partake in a delicious lunch on the veranda. For tickets see any Fairfield Rotarian or call Tom Williams at (931) 248-6601.
