Jackie Van Dyke grabbed the headlines at the recent Fairfield Glade Lions Golf Tourney with a hole-in-one on hole #3 at the Heatherhurst Crag Course. Jackie won a cruise package for two with her "ace." It was not enough, however, to overcome the winning foursome of Sherry Stanley, Mary Listenberger, Mary Ann Ferkol, and Phyllis Thrush, who won first place in the ladies flight with a team score of 70. In the mixed flight, the low team score was 55, by the team of Rhonda Huddleston, Kermit Selvig, Dave St. Aubin, and Steve Kehrer. Men's first flight winners, also with a low team score of 55, was the team of Ernie Brown, Jerry Graham, Jerry Burkhart, and Tom Houston. In the men's second flight, the team of Charlie Straight, Tom Bowman, Joe Wylie and Ron Patterson won, with a team score of 59. There were also second- and third-place team winners in each flight.
