The Fantastic Quilters will be meeting on Nov. 20 at the FFG United Methodist Church fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for socializing. Bring a friend or a neighbor to come join the fun. Theresa Ingram and Nancee Walker will be doing a trunk show and telling us about judging quilts and their experience with the Hoffman Challenge.
We also have a fat quarter drawing each month. You bring in a fat quarter and you are entered in the drawing to win up to 10 fat quarters.
This month bring in an earth-toned fat quarter to enter the drawing. You must be present to win.
We are having our Christmas luncheon on Dec. 11, at 10 a.m. Tickets for the lunch need to be purchased at our November meeting. Tickets are $7 for members and $10 for guests. This year we are supporting the Peavine Care Center with donations of food items, such as staples and canned goods, which will be brought to the luncheon.
Come join the fellowship and fun as we share our quilting projects with a show and tell time. There will be no more workdays until January 2010. Our annual dues
are $15 for 2010.
