Chuck Sullins, Roger Thackston, Jerry McNeely and David Hickey shot a 12-under-par 61 to win the Mike Steinmann Salvation Army Golf Tournament last Wednesday at Lake Tansi Golf Course. Second place went to David Sutton, Jim Cannon, Don Russ and Larry Bergh.
Five teams shot five-under-par 67 to go into the second flight, with Burgess Keith, Scott Robinson, James Stewart and Eddie Eller taking first place. Second place went to Ed Yoder, Paul Yoder, Carol Yoder and Bill Sutton.
