Volunteers sought for Parade of Beauties

CROSSVILLE — The annual Parade of Beauties is now looking for a few good men to participate in this year’s event April 12. Participants may take part as an individual or as a representative of a business or organization.

As most people are aware, the Avalon Center Parade of Beauties features some of the area’s most charitable and comedic gentlemen in their most fabulous female attire. The competition offers these gentlemen a chance to compete for great prizes donated by local businesses as well as a chance to be an integral part of an uproariously entertaining fundraising event.

Every year, this event has been a major fundraiser for Avalon Center programs, which serve adult and child victims of domestic and sexual assault. If you are willing to be a contestant in the event or act as a sponsor for this event, call the Avalon office at 456-0747. Contestants may sign up through Friday, March 1.
