Glee Beatty to retire at year's end
On Jan. 3, 2010, the POA office will no longer have the valuable services of Glee Beatty. Glee is retiring after 30 years of service to the POA and the Lake Tansi community. Her ability to be gently tough will be sorely missed. In her duties as the POA’s membership secretary, she has been in contact with nearly everyone who owns or has owned property in Lake Tansi Village. Her knowledge of deeds and her diligence of historical record keeping will continue to be her legacy. Glee’s shoes will certainly be difficult to fill.
If you find the time before the end of the year, stop by and express your congratulations and wish Glee well as she begins to enjoy the life of a retiree. If that cannot fit into your time schedule, there are plans in the works for a send-off for Glee after the first of the year.
