The Lake Tansi Exchange Club is once again sponsoring a “FUN” fund raiser cruise with the destination being Alaska. As in the past, Norwegian Cruise Lines has agreed to make a donation to the club based on the number of cabins sold and we have earned between $4,000 and $8,000. All proceeds have gone for child abuse prevention and victims of child abuse and we look forward to another “FUN” fund raiser cruise for this worthy cause.
On June 03, 2013, we will depart from Vancouver, Canada for a 7 night, adventure filled cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Sun . The ship will cruise the inside passage with port calls at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway before cruising Glacier Bay. Upon entering Glacier Bay National Park, a park ranger boards our ship to provide information and answer questions concerning the park and glaciers. We will be in the park for approximately 9 hours allowing plenty of time to see the glaciers calve and witness the abundant sea life of this magnificent park. After a cruise into Hubbard Glacier, we will disembark in Whittier where you can either transfer into Anchorage for a flight home, take an optional tour into Denali Park and inland Alaska or perhaps rent a car and travel on your own itinerary. Whatever you choose to do, your trip to Alaska will be an unforgettable experience. Alaska is still one of the few places left that her pristine beauty is unsurpassed.
Whether you have been to Alaska and wish to return again or this is your first visit, we would love to have you travel with us on this adventure.
