Car parts thefts net 3 years probation

CROSSVILLE — An Ashland City man accused with another Middle Tennessee resident of stealing thoursands of dollars worth of catalytic converters and mufflers cut off from vehicles on a Crossville car lot, has pleaded guilty and received a suspended sentence.

Gregory Ray Branam, 25, of Ashland City, and Sean Christopher Geary, 29, of Pleasantview, were arrested last November by Crossville police afer being found in the vicinity of East Tennessee Dodge off N. Main St.

Police on routeine patrol found that nine catalytic converters and nine mufflers had been cut off new Dodge Ram 2500 pickup trucks. Loss was placed at $27,000.

The two were later taken into custody walking along Interstate Dr. in the area of the BP Travel Plaza.

Geary appeared in Criminal Court and pleaded guilty to theft of more than $10,000 and received a three-year suspended sentence to be served under supervised probation. He, along with his co-defendant, are to pay restitution to the dealership.

•Franklin Dee Copeland, possession of a weapon by a felon and manufacture or possession of a schedule II drug for resale, bond denied; set for trial Nov. 8.

•Kelly William Demoe, aggravated child abuse, motion hearing set for Nov. 13; set for trial Jan. 23.

•Brandon Scott Duerr, sexual exploitation of a minor, continued to Jan. 30.

•Antoinette Fluer Lacasse, driving under the influence, per se (BAC more than .20 percent), motion denied; continued to Dec. 11.

•Kevin Paul Proffitt, burglary and theft of more than $10,000, set for trial Oct. 30.

•William Allen Davenport, felony murder and aggravated chid abuse, continued to Oct. 29.

•Charity Ann Williams, sale and delivery of a schedule II drug and sale and delivery of a schedule III drug, motion to waive $2,000 fines granted; to pay court costs.

•Krista Renee Brown, reckless aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, bond reduced to $20,000.

•Jennifer Lane Anderson, aggravated assault with serious bodily harm, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Anderson; continued to Oct. 29.

•Alecia Bo Grant, two counts of reckless aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Grant; continued to Jan. 30.

•Jeffery Eugene Morgan, second offense driving under the influence, felony evading arrest and simple possession of a schedule II drug, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Morgan; continued to Oct. 29.

•Dwayne Arthur Stoner, aggravated domestic assault, resisting arrest and two counts of simple assault, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Stoner; continued to Nov. 15.

•Nichole Marie Yingling, reckless aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, continued to Dec. 11 at which time Yingling is to return with an attorney.

•Michelle Lee Owens, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Owens; probation revocation hearing set for Dec. 11.

•Christopher A. Ellis, Public Defender's Office appointed to represent Ellis; probation revocation hearing continued to Oct. 29.

•Jack Clifford Lovell Jr., Earl Patton appointed to represent Lovell; probation revocation hearing continued to Oct. 29.

•Nicholas Wade Burchfield, probation violation hearing continued; bond set at $3,000.

•Pamela W. Hinch, probation violation hearing continued to Dec. 11.

•Thomas Allen Lansford, probation violation hearing continued to Oct. 29.

•Tony Gene Miller, probation violation hearing continued to Oct. 29.

•Joshua Lloyd Mills, on probation because of manufacture of methamphetamine, enhanced by the Drug-Free School Zone Act, and theft of more than $1,000, had probation revoked because of violations and was ordered to serve balance of his sentence.

•Ricky L. Moore, probation revocation hearing continued to Nov. 13.

•Joseph Randall Rolen, probation revocation hearing continued to Nov. 13.

•Christine Desiree Savage, on probation because of sell of a schedule III drug and delivery of a schedule III drug, had probation revoked because of violations and was ordered to serve balance of her sentence.

•Gunter Ty Wilson, probation revocation hearing set for Nov. 13.
