CROSSVILLE — Cumberland County Imagination Library was honored to receive a $3,200 donation from the Friends of Art Circle Public Library (FOL) at their October meeting. Representing Imagination Library was board member Jim Oswald. The Imagination Library offers one free age-appropriate book each month to Cumberland County children from birth through the age of five registered in the program. School zones may need revision
Cumberland County allows parents to transport their children to a school out of their residential zone, as long as it will not cause an overcrowding at the school. The Cumberland County Board of Education is questioning if that policy needs to make a distinction between space available without portable classrooms.
