An early morning house fire sent a mother and her two children into the morning cold and completely destroyed their home and everything in it.
The fire was reported around 3 a.m. at 58 School St. off Fourth St., about four blocks from the fire station on Henry Ave., but when first responders arrived on the scene, flames had fully enveloped the front of the dwelling.
The residence was the home of Reba Bell and her two children. No one was injured in the blaze and it is believed the fire was accidental.
Crossville Police, Crossville-Cumberland County Emergency Management and the local chapter of the American Red Cross responded to the scene with emergency shelter being provided by the Red Cross.
