CROSSVILLE — Heavy rains Wednesday morning caused flooding in some parts of the county including the intersection of Dartmoor Dr. and Peavine Rd. in Fairfield Glade. The intersection was flooded most of the day, forcing the closure for more than 24 hours. The water receded and drained and the area was cleared Thursday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the 30s this weekend with partly cloudy skies and slight chance of snow flurries Saturday night.
