A Putnam County woman was jailed after a fight she had with a Cumberland County woman escalated into a car bashing incident that involved four small children who escaped unhurt in the incident, according to reports.

Katherine Renee Fickey, 20, 2109 Clarkrange Hwy., Monterey, is charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and with leaving the scene of an accident.

Last Tuesday deputies were dispatched to Grey Fox Dr. in Windridge Estates off Creston Rd. on a report of a disturbance and upon arriving discovered that Fickey and Karen Davis had become involved in a spat that left Fickey angry, according to an arrest affidavit.

Fickey is alleged to have gotten into her vehicle after the fight, and is accused of driving it into the rear of Kendra Noble's vehicle. Inside the vehicle were four small children, according to witnesses.

The incident was investigated by Cpl. Alan Wyatt who left to take care of paperwork related to the case, leaving Deputy Richard Tinch to wait for a wrecker.

About an hour after the incident, Fickey returned to the scene and was taken into custody by Tinch and later was charged.

Fickey was placed under $5,000 bond and has a hearing date in Cumberland County General Sessions Court set for Oct. 5.
