Cumberland County has set two public hearings on amendments to the planned growth areas of its growth plan. The first will be held Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. in the large courtroom of the Cumberland County Courthouse. The combined plan for Cumberland County and its municipalities will be held Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
The growth plan was adopted by the county following the passage of Public Chapter 1101 by the state of Tennessee in 1999.
Copies of the proposed changes are available for review in the county mayor's office in the the Cumberland County Courthouse.
