Cumberland County Sheriff's Investigators and the Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to this residence on Hwy. 70 E near the KOA Kampground between Crossville and Crab Orchard on a report of a shooting. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. and according to first reports from the scene, a female was very critically wounded and a male described as in his 60s is in custody. All investigators were tied up at the scene and not available for comment at press time Monday.
