A Crossville couple escaped into freezing temperatures Monday night after fire raced through their mobile home. One suffered smoke inhalation and a family pet dog suffered smoke and minor burns.
Crossville Fire Department was called to the Netherton Lane home of David and Cynthia Howard Monday around 10 p.m. and found flames coming from windows. Cynthia Howard suffered minor smoke inhalation and an ambulance was called to the scene, but Howard declined medical treatment.
