The Fairfield Glade Republican Club will host a town hall meeting for the Republican candidates in the Nov. 2 general election at St. George Marina Friday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m.
Guests will include Dr. Scott DesJarlais, candidate for the 4th Congressional District of the U.S. House of Representatives; Cameron Sexton, candidate for the 25th District of the Tennessee House; and Gary Steakley, candidate for the 15th District of the Tennessee Senate.
Each candidate will make a presentation, followed by a question and answer session. The Republican Club is soliciting questions in advance of the event. Please direct questions via e-mail to Club President Ed Lewis at edmarlewis@citlink.net or call 335-8879. Deadline for submission of questions is Thursday, Sept. 9.
The club reminds voters this is a very important election and hopes a large number of interested voters will attend. Refreshments will be available.
