CoLinx's $13 million expansion with Gates Corporation began Wednesday with a groundbreaking ceremony with employees and county leaders on hand.
"We want to be the best place to work in Crossville and Cumberland County," Don Haston, warehouse manager, said. "We are the best because we have a good safety record, good employee relationships, and we provide legendary services to customers."
The new facility will add 31 new jobs to the 477 existing employees.
"Thirty-one new jobs means 31 new dreams realized," Cumberland County Mayor Brock Hill said to the crowd.
The new facility will be 88 feet in height with equivalency to be 100,000 square feet.
The new facility is expected to be up and running by June 2007.
