Fire of unknown origin raced through a mobile home Saturday morning around 9 a.m., completely destroying the residence and some of the belonging of a family of four that was in the process of moving.

Kim Jones told officials that she was moving from the Grey Fox Dr. residence to a nearby mobile home on the same road and had spent the night with her three children in the home she was moving into. She said she was notified by a friend who told her the former residence, which still had some of her belongings inside, was fully enveloped in flames.

No one was injured and the mobile home was a total loss. The Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross responded to offer assistance to the family.
