A fire on Saturday afternoon destroyed this motor home and a pickup truck and seriously damaged the home of Jim and Connie Emberton on Vandever Rd. near the intersection of Robbins Rd. Jim told firefighters he was working on the motor home's engine when there was a backfire, or explosion, which set the motor home on fire. Flames quickly spread to the pickup and the nearby house. No one was injured in the incident. The Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross provided emergency lodging for the victims.
