Authorities are treating the death of a west Cumberland County man as a homicide but are not releasing much information about the incident.
The body of Malcoln Frazier, 63, 317 Old Ridge Rd., was discovered around 11:23 a.m. Tuesday, according to a brief press release issued by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. Who discovered the victim's body and why homicide is suspected was not released and investigators were not available Thursday at deadline.
The release did state that the body was discovered at the address of the victim.
Responding to the scene were the Cumberland County and White County sheriff's departments, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Critical Incident Response Team.
"Foul play is suspected in the death; however, authorities are not releasing any details at this time as the investigation is ongoing," the press release stated.
