The Back 40 Series Round 5 which was canceled due to heavy rains back in May at Meadow Creek Motocross has been rescheduled for July 25-26.
The balance of the Back 40 Series will go as follows: July 4-5, July 18-19 and July 25-26.

The SMHS wrestling team placed fifth last weekend in the TSSAA A-AA State Duals team tournament in Franklin.

The Cumberland County High School basketball teams swept a pair of District 6AAA games at Warren County Tuesday night to earn first-round byes into next week's district tournament and berths into the Region 3AAA Tournament the following week. Both tournaments are slated for the CCHS gym.
