CROSSVILLE —
The Golf Capital Junior Tour event at Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain July 5 was shortened due to two weather delays. Twenty players participated in this event.
The girls 9-10 division was shortened to two holes with Jordan Herring posting a 15.
The girls 11-12 division, also a two-hole event, was won by Kelsey Neely with a 13, while Jillian Petrovit was second with a 15.
Hogan Herring won a scorecard playoff with Zach Young to claim the boys 11-12 division which was shorted to six holes. Both shot 27s, while Jay Burgin had a 35.
The boys 13-14 was shortened to five holes. Bracton Womack was the winner with a 19, followed by Wyatt Smith (20) and Chandler Shelton (21).
The 9-10 boys was shortened to three holes. Lief Smith won with a 14, followed by Tyson Welch (17) and Jordan Beers (18).
The final event will be July 19 at Lake Tansi.
