It will either be "trick or treat" for the Mountaineer football league, as they close out the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Mountaineer White travels to Monterey, while the Orange host Bledsoe County, as the teams prepare for the Conference Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Dunlap.
The Mountaineer White played Monterey in make-up action on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Jet Stadium. The White Juniors defeated Monterey 14-0, while Monterey blanked the Mountaineer Seniors 8-0. The Mountaineer Wee Pees and Pee Wees each won by forfeit.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Orange won one of four games from Dunlap. The Mountaineer Seniors shut out Dunlap 8-0, while the Wee Pees lost 8-6. The Pee Wees were shut out 22-0, and the juniors lost 30-0.
The Crossville White lost three of four games at Bledsoe County - Bledsoe County 24, Wee Pees 12; Pee Wees 12, Bledsoe County 6; Bledsoe County 24, Juniors 6; and Bledsoe County 14, Seniors 8.
