Knights of Columbus announces golf tourney

CROSSVILLE — The Knights of Columbus Council 8152 of Crossville will be hosting its 21st charity golf tournament June 12 2013 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain (a Jack Nicklaus designed course). The format will be a four-person scramble with a maximum of 36 teams. The entry donation is $75 per person ($300 per foursome) and includes greens fees, cart fees, one mulligan, and an awards banquet at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Hwy 70. If you do not wish to play golf, but would like to attend the banquet, the cost is $12.

Teams will be flighted after play: first-place team each flight, $300; second place each flight, $100; and women’s flight (if five teams enter), $300. If eight or more women’s teams enter, there will be second place payment of $100.

Additional prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin (both men and women) and straightest drive (both men and women).  Door prizes will be given out at the awards banquet, which will begin at 6 p.m.  So get your foursome together and fill out the attached form, or sign up individually and be assigned to a foursome.

Make this the number one charity golf tournament you enter this year.  “The Need Continues,” proceeds will benefit Cumberland County charities.

Make checks payable to Knights of Columbus and mail them to Knights of Columbus, 127 Stonewood Dr., Crossville, TN 38558. For additional information please contact Shelton Johnson – (931) 485-5587, Larry Lanzerotti – (931) 456-9633 or John Kopmeier – (931) 456-2597
