The Stone Memorial High School junior varsity football team defeated the Livingston Academy Wildcats Monday evening 28-6, after the Panther varsity recorded a 13-10 win last Friday in Livingston.
Brady Wattenbarger passed to Cameron Thompson for the Panthers' first score for a 6-0. The extra point was no good.
Cory Myers rushed for the second TD, with Wattenbarger passing to Thompson for the two-point conversion and a 14-0 lead.
Logan Davis had a long touchdown run for a 20-0 advantage. Seth Seiber passed to Grant Cooper for the final score.
The Panther junior varsity will return to action on Monday, Sept. 13, at CCHS at 5 p.m.
•Also, the SMHS freshmen will host Rhea County on Sept. 9 at 5 p.m., after hosting Kingston on Sept. 2.
