Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain is hosting its annual Junior Golf Academy during July.
"The purpose of a youth golf program is unquestionably to develop not only better golfers, but also better people," according to the PGA of America.
The clinic is Wednesday, July 12, Friday, July 14, Wednesday, July 19 and Friday, July 21, from 8 to 10 a.m.
There will be a clinic on Monday, July 24, as part of the Frontier Tennessee Women's State Open. Details coming later.
The four-session course will be $65 per student, which includes all range balls, instruction, prizes, rule books and educational materials.
The Junior Golf Academy is designed to enhance 8-15 year olds (boys and girls), teach juniors the basic fundamentals (grip, stance, swing, etiquette and integrity), encourage juniors to play and practice, develop social skills and emotional control, and have fun and make the game enjoyable.
