Jets, Panthers football teams at home Friday

The Cumberland County High School Jets and Stone Memorial High School Panthers will be playing home games Friday. The Jets (0-0, 0-1) host Lincoln County at 7 p.m. in Region 3-5A game, while the Panthers (0-1, 0-1) host Scott County in a Region 2-3A game at 6:30 p.m.

No make-up date has been announced for the CCHS at SMHS game, postponed on Aug. 22.

CCHS drops pair of games at Coffee County
The Cumberland County High School basketball teams traveled to Coffee County Tuesday for two District 6AAA games, and came home 0-2, after a 55-46 loss to the Lady Raiders and a 73-67 setback to the Red Raiders.
