CROSSVILLE — Jan. 5, 1937—Dec. 16, 2012

Raymond Gardner Button Jr., 75, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 16, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Dec. 19, 2012, with Bro. Gary Robbins officiating. Interment was in Mayland Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 5, 1937, in Harlan County, KY, son of the late Raymond Gardner Button Sr. and Vera (Rose) Button.

Mr. Button was a jeweler on Main Strett for 60 years. He owned and operated Ray's Jewelry, one of the longest continuing businesses in Crossville. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Cumberland County Fire Department since its inception in 1974, as well as the Crossville Fire Department. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Sue (Tays) Button, of Crossville; daughters, Melissa Ruth Rosser and husband, Mark, and Cynthia Marie Norrod and husband, Ray, all of Crossville; granddaughters, Tiffany Nicole Griffith and husband, Steve, and Danielle Jade Rosser, all of Crossville; and brothers, Tommy Button of Crossville and Charles Button and wife, Dianne, of Huntsville, AL.

Pallbearers were Jeff Dodson, Kenny Kilgore, John W. Hall, Kevin Edwards, Ted Welch, Mike Turner, David Button and Chris Button.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Daniel Luke Gibbons (Cadillac), 58, of Crossville, passes away May 6, 2013, at Tennessee Veteran Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home May 9, with Bro. Charles Presley officiating. Interment was in Algood City Cemetery, with full military honors provided by Veteran's Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends today, May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Visitation was held May 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bill Harvey and the Rev. James Arland Anderson officiated. Burial will be private.
