Hershel Myers, 58, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 27, 2012. A celebration of Hershel's life was held Dec. 30 at Pikeville Funeral Home, with Pastor Hershel Watson officiating. Burial was in the Myers Cemetery.
He was an avid outdoorsman, loved horses, and enjoyed squirrel hunting.
Hershel was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maggie Myers, and a brother, Wayne Myers.
He is survived and will be missed by his son, Shannon (Jessica) Myers; daughter, Mekisha (Tim) Bolin; grandchildren, Kayleigh Bolin, Brody Myers, Kolton Myers, Amy Brewer, Renee Brewer, Alexis Brewer, and Jody Wyatt; sister, Sandra Myers; sister-in-law, Helen Myers; nieces, Sandra Watson and Amanda Music; nephews, Josh Watson and Hershel Watson; one great-niece, Alexi Music; and many special friends.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT at Evans Mortuary, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. President Charles Watkins officiated. Concluding and interment services will be today, June 18, at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m.
