Fred Stege

CROSSVILLE — Sept. 14, 1931‚Dec. 28, 2012

Fred William Stege, 81, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 28, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. No services are planned for Mr. Stege.

He was born Sept. 13, 1931, in St. Paul, MN, the son of the late Fred E. and Hertha (Pehling) Stege.

Mr. Stege was a business owner and an entrepreneur. He was an owner/CEO of manufacturing plants of industrial gloves and industrial disposable clothing in Mississippi, Texas and Mexico. He served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was particularly proud of his wonderful daughters.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Clare (Kolin) Stege, of Crossville; daughters, Debra Dellafera (Mark) of Boston, MA, Christy Lee Martin (Victor) of Caro, MI, Sheryl Howard (Donald) of Jupiter, FL, and Trudy Boyles (Kyle) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Chad Martin (Michelle), Kyle Martin (Alison), Zachary A. Boyles and Haley Clare Boyles; and brother, Joel Stege (Audrae).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Roger Stege.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

    She was born July 4, 1970, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Jack Cooke and Sylvia (Pennicuff) Cooke.
