David Bruce Wright, 47, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 22, 2013. Funeral services were held Jan. 27, 2013, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Eddie Frady officiated, with burial in Tollett's Chapel Cemetery.
He was born July 27, 1965, in Crossville, the son of James David and Lydia Allene Adams Wright. He worked many years as a mechanic and was a huge NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his mother, Lydia Wright of Crossville; son, Dylan Wright of Crossville; daughters, Codie Wright and Jodie Wright, both of Crossville; brothers, Barry Wright and Brock Wright and his wife, Jenny, all of Crossville; sisters, Carol Proffitt and her husband, Orlan, Debbie Frady and her husband, Eddie, and Vera Rogers and her husband, Gary, all of Crossville; and granddaughters, Brooklynn and Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery.

Visitation was held May 13 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bill Harvey and the Rev. James Arland Anderson officiated. Burial will be private.
