Lucille Whitesell, 84, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 28, 2012, at Wharton Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, TN. Funeral services were held Dec. 1 from Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Joe Campbell officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Crossville. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, James Harper and wife, Donna; daughter, Sandy Wyatt and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Kelly Barger and husband, Eric, Kendra Wallace and husband, Sean, and Nathan Bryson; and dear friend, Christine Bilyeu.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Mary Dixon Williams; husband, George Whitesell; son, Ted Bryson; granddaughter, Stacey Bryson; brothers, Blaine Harper, Thomas, Ernest and Claude Harper; and sisters, Marie Welch and Hazel Selby.
Pallbearers were Jackie Stevens, Greg Bilyeu, Gary Bilyeu, Eric Barger, Ross Temple and Jule Bryson.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

The graveside service will be today, May 24, at 3 p.m. EDT at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronnie Capes will perform the service. There will be no prior visitation.
