Bernice Eleanor Pratt, 89, of Crossville, passed away June 14, 2012. Funeral services were held June 18 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Howard officiating.
Mrs. Pratt was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Cook County, IL, the daughter of John and Mary Jelen Gazda.
She was a homemaker and a member of the VA Lodge in Crossville. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.
Survivors include her sons, William Pratt and wife, Clara, of Las Vegas, NV, and John Pratt and wife, Maria, of Chicago, IL; daughters, Sandra Griffith and husband, Charles, of Crossville, Patricia Knowlton and husband, Remon, of Chicago, IL, and Charmaine Pratt of Crossville; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, Mary Ann Gazda and Gail Diereks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Pratt; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Larry Langdon; four brothers; and three sisters.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

The family received friends Tuesday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT at Evans Mortuary, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. President Charles Watkins officiated. Concluding and interment services will be today, June 18, at Roane Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m.
