Laura Faye Knoll, 76, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Nov. 8, 2012. Funeral services were held Nov. 13, with Father John Dowling officiating.
She was born Nov. 4, 1936, in Lake City, AR, the daughter of the late Thomas Earl Ballard and Lola Sue (Gambill) Ballard.
Mrs. Knoll was retired from Comercia Bank and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was also a member of Neighbors and Newcomers, Catholic Christian Women, Daughters of the American Revolution, Red Hat Society and Fairfield Glade Ladies Club.
She is survived by her husband, James Walter Knoll Sr., of Fairfield Glade; sons, James W. Knoll Jr. of Taylor MI, and Thomas Anthony Knoll of Fairfield Glade; daughter, Cheryl Ann Czajkowski of Howell, MI; son, Stephen William Knoll of Commerce Township, MI; daughter, Lori Renee Amos of Canton, MI; sister, Martha F. Ballard of Fairfield Glade; brothers, Zan Jack Ballard of Benton Township, MI, Ronnald Earl Ballard of Stevensville, MI, and Carl Lynn Ballard of Lexington, NC; sister, Deborah Sue Ruth of St. Joseph, MI; brother, Roger Dean Ballard of Battle Creek, MI; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Earl and Lola Sue (Gambill) Ballard; and sister, Lois Nandene Ballard.

The graveside service will be today, May 24, at 3 p.m. EDT at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ronnie Capes will perform the service. There will be no prior visitation.
